A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.

Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.

Process phases

All interested parties are invited to a first, digital information meeting via YouTube stream . We are planning a 40-minute presentation with the most important key points about the project, the group and the free apartments. Then there is half an hour for questions. For a better overview of the participants, please subscribe to the following mailing list. You will then receive all further information by email.

We are interested in what interests you: what appeals to you about Hof Prädikow, what is your motivation, which apartment should it be, do you have any plans? You can download the application form with our key questions here from May 4th.



We review the applications and invite those applicants who seem most suitable to us to further meetings in a smaller (digital) group, each with about 10 people. We plan to invite three applicant parties per unit.



You will get to know our structures, working groups and processes in further meetings, then hopefully (!) Get to know the future neighbors and the farm better and everyone can develop a feeling for whether it also works in “everyday life”. In the end, the decision is made as to whether you want to be part of the project. (around the end of October / mid November)

About this process

Hof Prädikow offers space and design options for singles, couples, pensioners and families. The first building applications have been prepared with some preparatory work by the current group of future residents. The planned move-in date is spring 2022. Now we are looking for people for the vacant apartments who can collaborate with us, be future neighbors, and complete the project.
